About Elise

Elise Marsh spent the first chapter of her career as a behavioural consultant for online gaming compliance bodies across the UK and Malta, advising regulators on how design elements — sound, animation, session structure — influence player behaviour at the neurological level. She left institutional consultancy to go independent, founding a research practice focused on translating cognitive science into plain language for everyday players. Her work at DundeeSlots is driven by a single conviction: the more players understand the psychological machinery underneath a slot, the more empowered their decisions become. Elise holds a postgraduate qualification in applied behavioural science and has contributed analysis to academic working groups studying digital gambling design. Outside of research, she teaches occasional seminars on responsible gambling literacy.
